One of our goals at Journey Point is to provide you with discipleship resources, which is why we’re giving all of our members access to Right Now Media! Especially in this time of self-isolation, we want you to have resources to help you continue to grow in your journey with Jesus.

If we have your email on file, you should receive a message at 10:30am MST on March 22, 2020 with instructions on how to sign up for your account. If you don't receive this, you can contact us at [email protected]!

We are Bringing CHURCH TO YOUR Home and Connect Group

As you're aware, COVID-19, the coronavirus, has become a topic of much concern. Launching our Home Point initiative is a response to our consideration of how best to care for you and our community. In response to Mayor Michael Hancock’s requests, we have decided to move our Sunday gatherings from IN-PERSON to ONLINE. We believe that the church is not an event but a family and relationships, so we are encouraging our church family to continue meeting in Groups for teaching, discussion, prayer, & care.

best practices for Connect Groups

The vision of Home Point is simple: gather in homes each week - morning or night, you decide - with your Journey Point Community to worship, pray, and learn from the Scriptures together.
Home Point is also a weekly rhythm and resource outside of connect groups to continue taking another step on your journey with Jesus, whether in marriage, as a parent, or follower of Jesus.

Not in a Journey Point Connect Group?

If you are not yet in a Journey Point Connect Group, we encourage you to reach out to a few friends and family members to host your own Home Point gathering using the Sunday Gathering Guides.

Sunday Connect Group Guides

Guides are for each Sunday of Home Point. In each guide you will find a weekly teaching and recommended plan for your time together. Guides will be updated weekly.
Much like your normal Journey Point Connect Group, each Home Point should include a leader (or leaders) to lead the time together and a designated host. Experts are saying that small gatherings like these can be held with minimal risk; however, it is the responsibility of each and every one of us to take necessary precautions to care for the vulnerable.

best practices for Connect Groups To Stop the Spread of COVID-19

1. No one present is sick or has any reason to think they have been exposed to COVID-19.
2. Shared surfaces are disinfected before and after the meeting.
3. Everyone washes their hands thoroughly (more than 20 seconds) upon arrival and returning to their home.
4. Food and drink are served individually.
5. As much distance as possible is maintained between members of different households and their belongings.
